Laphroaig 10 Original Cask Strength - $7.00
In making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavor. Laphroaig is best savored neat, or with a little cool water. Roll it around on your tongue. Release the pungent, earthy aroma of blue peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley, the delicate heathery perfume of Islay's streams. It is as unique as the island itself.
The Balvenie Double Wood 12 - $7.50
The Balvenie Double Wood is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. Over its period of maturation it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt ~ the traditional casks soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavor.
Dalmore 12 - $7.50
The backbone of the Whyte & Mackay blend, but a highly regarded Highland malt in its own right. Distilled on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, north of Inverness, Dalmore is a whisky that holds its age well, and older expressions are warmly recommended. However, the ‘entry level' 12-year-old is no slouch. Fruity and appetizing on the nose, with malt, orange, light Sherry and a touch of gingery spice. Medium bodied on the palate, Sherried, fruity and malty. The finish is medium in length, drying and persistently nutty.
The Glenlivet French Oak 15 - $8.00
Selective maturation in new French Oak casks made from Limousin Oak creates a characterful and unique expression of The Glenlivet. The rich, spicy notes from French Oak interplay with the fruit and floral notes of The Glenlivet. A delicious whisky to savour.
The Balvenie Single Barrel 15 - $9.00
The Balvenie Single Barrel is a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation. Whilst each cask is subtly different, The Balvenie Malt Master selects only those casks which have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel, particularly honey, vanilla and oaky notes. Each bottling forms a limited edition of no more than 350 hand-numbered bottles - so each bottle is unique and unrepeatable.
